Your Practical Assessment FAQ
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS FAQ PERTAINS TO THE MATWORK AND REFORMER PATHWAYS. THIS IS NOT APPLICABLE FOR THE STUDIO PATHWAY.
Below you’ll find answers to the most common questions students have in the lead‑up to their Practical Assessment. Each response is written to help you feel prepared, supported, and confident.
I haven’t received my Assessment Task.
If it’s 48 hours before your Practical Assessment and your Assessment Task hasn’t arrived, check:
The inbox of the email you used when you enrolled.
Your junk or spam folder.
Your Student Portal correspondence.
If it’s still not there, please call HQ as soon as possible so we can help you quickly.
I can see my Assessment Task Program - what do I do now?
Log in to your LMS and open your Assessment Suite. You’ll find your Practical Assessment listed under your modality. Open the Assessment Instructions - they’ll guide you step‑by‑step through what to prepare and how to complete your assessment.
I need to print my Assessment Task but I don’t have a printer.
Because your device will be too small to use comfortably viewing from the floor during your assessment, printing your Assessment Task is strongly recommended. You can print it at your local library, Officeworks, or any community printing service.
The Assessment Task link isn’t working.
Try the following:
Use Google Chrome - it works best with the LMS and Dropbox.
Check your internet connection.
If it still won’t open, call HQ so we can help you access it quickly.
Calling is the fastest option, especially when your assessment is close.
If you need help urgently, you can contact the Student Support Team at HQ during our office hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–3:30pm (AWST) We’re based in Perth, Western Australia, so please keep the time difference in mind when planning your call.
