About Work Placement Logbooks

Your Work Placement Logbook is the formal record of the Work Placement activities you complete throughout your course or pathway.

Your Logbook allows you to progressively document your professional learning and provides the evidence required for Pilates ITC to verify that your Work Placement requirements have been completed.

Your Work Placement Logbooks are housed within the Assessment section of your LMS, alongside the assessment information relevant to your course or pathway.

This is where you should always access and download the Logbook relevant to your studies.

Before recording your Work Placement activities, complete the Completing Your Work Placement Logbooks training within your Postgraduate Work Placement module.

This training will guide you through how to use and complete your Logbook correctly, including the important requirements you need to understand before you get started.

Return to this training whenever you need a refresher throughout your course.

Work Placement is designed to happen progressively as you move through your postgraduate studies, and your Logbook should develop alongside it.

Record your Work Placement activities as you complete them, rather than attempting to reconstruct your hours and experiences towards the end of your course.

Keeping your Logbook current will help you:

• keep track of your progress against your Work Placement requirements;

• ensure activities and hours are recorded accurately;

• obtain verification or retain supporting evidence while it is readily available;

• identify any gaps in your Work Placement early; and

• reflect on how your postgraduate learning is being applied within your professional practice.
