About Work Placement

Edited

We believe that physical context and awareness is how you unlock your full teaching potential! You must feel it, see it and touch it to make sense of it and how you can, in turn, communicate that experience with others. (That’s why we also promote Self-Mastery as part of the process!)

Getting in the Studio is shown to optimise learning outcomes and nurture skilled, capable and confident - industry-leading Pilates professionals.

The Work Placement component may feel daunting at first; however, it is achievable with planning, preparation and commitment. The first step is to understand the scope of this requirement.

  1. Observation.

  2. Teaching Practise.

For compliance in an accredited Course it is expected that Work Placement activities are completed in the Studio environment, unless there are extenuating accessibility circumstances - wherein alternative arrangements may be accessed.

In other words: prioritise and commit to in-Studio, on the job learning.
