How To: The Teaching Hour Formula

Edited

When it comes to your Teaching Hours, planning is key.

Tip: Map out a weekly Work Placement schedule at the beginning of your course – and stick to it.

For example, if you have 30 teaching hours to complete and 25 weeks in which to complete them, you should aim for 1.5 - 2 hours of teaching per week.

The Formula:

# Log hours required divided by # weeks up to 1 week before your Practical Assessment = the number of log hours per week.
