Work Placement Support

Edited

Support is available throughout your Work Placement to help you navigate requirements, apply your learning within professional practice and work through questions or challenges as they arise.

Ask an Educator

Ask an Educator is your first point of contact whenever you need individual guidance or support outside of scheduled sessions.

Email askaneducator@pilatesitc.edu.au with your question and an Educator will respond or determine the most appropriate way to support you. Depending on your needs, this may include support via email, phone, Zoom or another appropriate format.

Use Ask an Educator whenever you need help with your coursework, assessments, repertoire, theory, skill development or Work Placement requirements.

Study Hall

Study Hall is a monthly online session providing an opportunity to connect with an Educator and other postgraduate Students in a collaborative learning environment.

Bring along questions, ideas or challenges you'd like to explore. Study Hall can be used to seek clarity, workshop ideas, discuss coursework or assessment questions, and learn through the experiences and perspectives of your peers.

Personalised Supervision Meetings — Blended study mode

Students completing their pathway through the Blended study mode also attend scheduled Personalised Supervision Meetings (PSMs) with their Lead Educator.

These meetings are dedicated specifically to Work Placement and provide an opportunity to review your progress, reflect on your experiences, discuss the application of your postgraduate learning within professional practice and receive feedback and guidance from your Lead Educator.

PSMs also contribute to the indirect supervision and verification of your Work Placement requirements.
