Team Professional Development Policy
Purpose
At Pilates ITC, we want you to feel confident that you're learning from the best. This policy explains how we ensure your educators are highly qualified, industry-current, and committed to continuous professional development. We take professional growth seriously, so the team guiding your learning is equipped with the skills, knowledge, and experience you deserve. This commitment supports our compliance with the Standards for RTOs 2025 and ASQA guidelines.
Definitions
Professional Development (PD) – Learning activities that help educators expand their knowledge and keep their teaching skills sharp and up to date
Skills Matrix – An internal tool used to track educator qualifications, training, and the areas they’re working on developing
Validation Activities – Internal review sessions where assessment tools and methods are checked to make sure they're fair, clear, and aligned to industry standards

Your educators hold the required qualifications, vocational experience, and training credentials to deliver accredited courses

Instructor Pilates Classes
Our educators regularly take part in instructor and educator Pilates sessions to build on their skills and teaching insight.
Internal Development & Workshops
We run frequent team meetings and educator training days
Our team participates in validation sessions to ensure your assessments are fair and effective
Policies and procedures are reviewed regularly, and the team receives training on any updates
External Education Opportunities
Educators are encouraged to attend:
Industry conferences and events
Workshops, webinars, and accredited short courses
Continuing Education Courses hosted right here at Pilates ITC
Knowledge Sharing
We have a knowledge sharing culture along with our Management Team who provide access to industry news, relevant publications, and community learning opportunities—so the team is always in the loop.

All team members are expected to keep their PD records updated so we can maintain compliance and transparency.
