Private Tuition Policy & Procedure

Purpose

Private Tuition gives you the opportunity for focused 1:1 time with an Educator—either in person or via Zoom—to support your learning journey at Pilates ITC. Whether you’d like to revisit missed content, strengthen your confidence with exercises, refine your self-mastery, or seek tailored coaching for managing a personal physical condition, Private Tuition is a flexible way to receive personalised guidance that meets your needs.


Definitions

  • Private Tuition: A 1:1 appointment with a Pilates ITC Educator outside of regular course delivery days, held in person or via Zoom.

  • Course Delivery Day Recap: A Private Tuition session that revisits missed course content; minimum booking is 3 hours.

  • Educator: A qualified Pilates ITC facilitator approved to deliver Private Tuition.

  • Timetable/Schedule: Your student learning schedule as shown in the Student Portal.


Who This Policy Applies To

This policy applies to all current Pilates ITC Students enrolled in Certificate IV, Diploma, or Professional Instruction Pathways.


Our Policy

How to Request Private Tuition

To get started, reach out to our Student Support Team and let them know you’d like to request a Private Tuition. They’ll send you a request form where you’ll confirm your:

  • Purpose for the session

  • Preferred dates/times

  • Preferred delivery format (in person or Zoom)

Once we receive your request, payment will be required before we proceed with booking. Our team will then contact Educators in your region (or across the country for Zoom) to coordinate your preferred timing.

Please note:

  • Educators and venues tend to be booked on weekends—Private Tuitions are usually held on weekdays, or prior to course delivery/teaching clinic sessions.

  • Sessions typically run for 1–3 hours.

    • If you’re booking a Course Delivery Day Recap, a minimum of 3 hours is required.

  • You may share a Private Tuition with another student, however, the same hourly rate applies per person.

Once a suitable Educator, date, and venue are confirmed, we’ll send you an email confirmation and update your Student Portal schedule accordingly.

To get the most out of your Private Tuition, we recommend coming prepared—with specific goals, questions, or areas you’d like support in.

Cancellations and Refunds

We understand life happens! Here’s how cancellation works:

7+ business days

Credit applied to your account to reschedule your session.

If you have an extenuating circumstance occur during this period, you can apply for a full refund. (you’ll need to provide bank details).

3–6 business days

Credit applied to your account to reschedule your session.

No refund options available.

Less than 3 days

No refund or credit (as venue and Educator fees still apply).

If you qualify for a refund, our team will contact you to collect your bank details.
