Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Policy

Edited

Purpose

At Pilates ITC, we’re committed to building an inclusive, equitable, and accessible learning and working environment that celebrates diversity and promotes well-being. This ADEI Policy outlines how we uphold fairness, respect, and opportunity for everyone—Students, Staff, Educators, and affiliates—while ensuring we meet our responsibilities under ASQA guidelines, the Standards for RTOs 2025, and relevant Australian legislation.

Definitions

  • Accessibility: The design of environments, resources, and services so they can be used by everyone, regardless of ability

  • Diversity: The mix of backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences that enrich our community

  • Equity: Ensuring fair treatment and opportunities by addressing and removing barriers

  • Inclusion: Creating a safe, respectful space where everyone feels they belong and can fully participate

  • ADEI: Acronym for Accessibility, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, guiding the principles of this policy

  • Instructor Studio Access Guidelines: A resource to help you plan for physical accessibility when attending in-person training at third-party studios
