Purpose
This update is to inform you of recent policy updates and new additions to the Pilates ITC Knowledge Base Library. These changes reflect our ongoing commitment to clarity, transparency, and student support, shaped by feedback from our learning community. We’re proud to continue building a resource that empowers your journey with accessible, up‑to‑date information.
Definitions
Student Handbook Your comprehensive guide to policies, procedures, course details, and key information relevant to your enrolment.
Knowledge Base Library A searchable online platform providing instant access to policies, codes of practice, guides, assessment tools, support links, and frequently asked questions.
Policy Update Table An organised summary of all recent changes, categorised for easy navigation and aligned with Handbook versioning.
Who this update applies to
This update applies to all current Pilates ITC students, regardless of location or mode of study.
Effective Date
This release is effective immediately, dated 09 June 2026. All current student enrolments are now governed under all updated and new policies as outlined in this release document.
What’s New?
Small Apparatus Policy Update
The Knowledge Base now reflects the updated Small Apparatus process aligned with your first enrolment pathway.
Reasonable Adjustments Policy Update
Strengthened to align with the Standards for RTOs 2025, ASQA expectations, and relevant legislation. Key improvements include:
Clearer purpose emphasising equity and assessment integrity.
Expanded definitions.
No penalties for late disclosure.
Clear documentation and review processes.
Stronger guidance on validity and fairness.
Updated Pregnancy Support section.
Clearer instructions for late disclosure on assessment days.
Explicit Complaints and Appeals references.
Full compliance mapping.
Practical Assessment Policy Update
PARCI requirement updated to 14 days.
New format for Matwork, Reformer and Small Apparatus Practical Assessments:
You will receive a 40‑minute program 48 hours before your assessment.
You must incorporate 3–4 additional exercises from the provided repertoire.
You must explain how you would adjust the program for client considerations (verbal or written for digital submissions).
All details are located in the Assessment Suite → Practical Assessment.
In‑person assessments follow a strict 60‑minute timeframe.
If required evidence is not demonstrated, a digital resit is required.

Note: The Studio Pathway Practical Assessments (Initial Consult and Group Assessment) remain unchanged at this time. No updates have been applied, and the current assessment formats continue to operate as usual.
Work Placement Assessments (Logbooks) Submission Update
Logbook submission timeframe updated from 14 days to 7 days prior to your scheduled Practical Assessment.
