What’s New?

Postgraduate Study Now Included Across Our Policies

Our policies and procedures have been updated to include the 11333NAT Advanced Diploma of the Pilates Method and associated Advanced Pathways. Key improvements include:

  • Clearly labelled sections for undergraduate and postgraduate students so you can quickly find what applies to you.

  • New postgraduate terms such as Course Training Plan, Lead Educator, Personalised Supervision Meetings (PSMs) and Course Intensives.

  • Postgraduate Work Placement can be completed within your existing workplace without it needing to become an affiliated Work Placement Studio.

  • Digital submission is the standard Practical Assessment format for postgraduate study.

Course Duration Policy Update

A new Course Commencement Date clause has been added in line with our aNewSpring LMS:

  • Your course or pathway commences on the date you first access your LMS, or automatically 10 days after your LMS access is issued, whichever comes first.

  • Your maximum course duration is calculated from this commencement date.

  • If you need a later start date, this must be arranged with the Admissions Officer or Student Services Team at the time of enrolment.

  • Maximum course durations for postgraduate courses and Advanced Pathways have been added.

Graduation and Awards Policy Update

  • You can now apply to graduate when you complete an eligible pathway and receive a Statement of Attainment for the units you have completed, even if you are continuing your studies.

  • Applications to Graduate are submitted through your LMS.

  • The title Pilates Practitioner is reserved for graduates of the full 11333NAT Advanced Diploma of the Pilates Method.

Combined Study Options

The Refund and Withdrawal policies now explain how the Cooling-Off Period, withdrawals and fees apply when you are enrolled in a Combined Study Option (undergraduate and postgraduate study together). Only one Withdrawal Fee will apply to a Combined Study Option withdrawal.

Platform Name Updates

Policies now refer to our current platforms: Ready Student by ReadyTech (Student Management System) and aNewSpring (Learning Management System).
